Duration	Master’s: 3 years Doctoral: 4 years
Scholarship Coverage	Tuition waiver, Accommodation, Medical Insurance
Monthly Living Allowance	Master’s: 3,000 RMB Doctoral: 3,500 RMB

Nationality: Non-Chinese nationals in good health.

Age Limits:

Master’s applicants: Under 35 years with a Bachelor’s degree.

Doctoral applicants: Under 40 years with a Master’s degree.

Language Proficiency:

Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 4 with ≥210 points OR proof of Chinese instruction in a previous degree.

English-taught programs: English Proficiency Certificate OR IELTS.

Before applying you have to prepare the following documents to proceed with the application.

Passport Front Page (Valid for 1 year at least)
Highest Degree Notarized (If you are applying for a master’s degree you need a bachelor’s degree, if you are applying for PhD degree you need both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree)

Note: If your degree is not completed yet, you need HOPE CERTIFICATE from your university.

Transcripts Notarized (If you are applying for a master’s degree you need a bachelor’s degree, if you are applying for a PhD degree you need both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree)
Research Proposal (PhD) or Study Plan (Master’s)
Motivation Letter (Required by some universities)
English Proficiency Certificate
Two Recommendation Letters (by Associate Professors at least)
Foreigner Physical form
Police Clearance Certificate
CV
Acceptance Letter (Optional, but mandatory for some universities)

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can apply to only ONE university for a CSC Scholarship. So, choose your university wisely.
